Click, the sound of the shutter going off in a camera. Something I have lived with and enjoyed my whole professional life. Nowadays though the sound is very different. Digital cameras all have their own unique sounds but for the most part they are electronic in nature. The digital age.
I came from a film and analog video tape background having spent a career in the TV news business as a cameraman/photographer. We did so many stories about computers, the Internet, and the web that I drifted that way back in 1996. I stayed in the film photography realm however until just three years ago.
It was then that I realized that digital cameras and photography were the real thing and I had to get involved. Nowdays I live and breathe digital photgrpahy and digital video. I plan to share all that with each and every one of you who visit.

Though we try to be very careful about the information we put on this site, errors may creep in and manufacturers may change specifications. We don't mind at all if readers point out our errors and mistakes.
Visitors often ask us for digital camera recommendations. We cannot recommend which digital camera is the best one for you because there are too many personal variables to consider. You need to gather the inforamtion that is important to you about a camera. Some of those criteria might include how it fits in your hand, what level of quality, reputation of the manufacturer, and so on. Do not base your purchase decision on our personal opinions alone; make sure to get lots of information in order to make your decision.
